Wedding Photography Stories

Hello, I’m Richard, and I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer for over 20 years, and in that time I have shot weddings all over the UK. I’ve captured small & intimate weddings, rural weddings, grand ceremonies in historic venues and more. It’s the variety in my job that makes it so interesting, as well as all the amazing couples I get to work with. Each wedding is unique and I treat each photoshoot with care.

I believe my skill and experience as a wedding photographer is shown as I position myself throughout the day, taking care to find the best natural lighting (and employ the flash when required!). I like to be in the right place at the right time, not in the way. Of course, there will always be the obligatory posed group shots in front of the venue, but I like to keep my style very fluid, natural and unposed. In my experience, that is how real emotion, love and romance is captured on camera.
