Old Essex barn wedding venue

Old Essex Barn Wedding photography in Essex

As soon as you walk through the canopied gates of the old Essex barn, you know you’re onto a winner.

Old Essex barn wedding venue. A wonderful pretty wedding venue that delights in its charm and picturesque Essex countryside.

The venue

Outside or inside. Old Essex barn is perfect for a wedding in any weather. The 15th-century barn exudes an atmosphere and a feeling of relaxation.

There are plenty of so-called barn wedding venues popping up all over the southeast. But with Essex barns, you do feel relaxed as if you’ve just got married in your own back garden.

There is no pressure. The staff is very friendly and you don’t feel like you’re being managed. (unlike some other local hotel wedding venues I could mention)

Because at the end of the day, it’s your wedding day and you should be able to enjoy it with friends, family, and guests.

The grounds

lovely laid lawns to sit down and relax in on a warm summer’s day.

Lots of little nooks and crannies for those relaxed private moments or a lovely walk around the grounds, enjoying the Essex countryside views.

Wedding photographer Essex

Having filmed at Old Essex barns or in its former name, Crabbs barn I have filmed at this wedding venue many times over the years.

As a very experienced wedding photographer covering Essex. This has to be one of my favorite wedding venues and I have filmed at hundreds of wedding venues over the years.

The shots of getting ready, and walking down the aisle with dad’s arm in arm. Family friends and guests seeing you in your wedding dress for the first time.

Your first kiss with your new husband (or wife). Then phew! it’s all over. Time to relax and enjoy the day with family and friends.

And of course, we all love a good confetti shot.

Take a few minutes out with your new husband or wife. Off for some relaxed romantic moments away from everyone, photographer in tow.

Time for the first dance and maybe one with dad too. party! party! The best pictures of the day.

Then as the sun goes down a little sunset kiss with the last rays of sunshine going down in the background behind Old Essex barn.

Conclusion

A great wedding venue with no obvious negatives. Great management. lovely grounds and above all superb atmosphere.

Oh and a big car park.

What else do you want from a wedding venue? Hopefully, the plastic swans in the pond have flown away.

As a recommended supplier on the “rock my wedding” website, you can be assured of  quality images from your wedding at affordable prices
